Every single person has the ability to succeed and create wealth and happiness. All it takes to create success is to truly grasp and execute this one concept. That is worth repeating. With one change in your life, you could set yourself up to reach all of your goals.
Not everyone is going to believe that and not everyone will keep reading because they are already doubting themselves so much they don’t believe me.
I am going to challenge you right now – read this entire post, absorb it and practice executing it every day for a week and then see how you feel.
What’s the worst that happens? You waste some time and are disappointed? Not a bad downside, especially when the upside is more likely and the rewards are so big.
Since you are still reading, I assume you’ve accepted the challenge. Congratulations!
So what is the one HUGE difference between those who succeed and those who don’t?
It sounds so simple. That’s because it is.
You still have to do the work to create success and you know what? It’s probably going to be hard work. But when you know deep in your gut – deep in soul what you need to be doing – that’s when you have the discipline and commitment to do what it takes and create the success that you used to wish for.
Think about it for a minute – every thing you do and don’t do is a choice. And every single choice has consequences. Sometimes those consequences are bad and sometimes they are good – so breathtakingly good.
If you don’t know what your purpose is and you aren’t committed to living that purpose, how can you make the best decisions? How can you take consistent steps towards having exactly what you want when you haven’t clearly defined what you want?
So again I say, it really is that simple and that beautiful. I mean think about it – you have the power to discover your purpose and then live it. Amazing.
When you realize that all of your decisions are what creates your life and when you realize that most decisions are made with no purpose and goal in mind, it really can’t be that surprising that you aren’t where you want to be, right?
Every time you make a decision and there is an outcome, that experience shapes you. So if you are experiencing disappointments and not getting anywhere, it’s so easy to feel like you just aren’t “meant to succeed” so you accept your fate and you get even further from your purpose. You start simply existing. Simply surviving each day. Maybe you look forward to family time, or a vacation or watching a sports game and you are content. But in your quiet moments you feel like there just has to be more.
There is more. So much more. And it’s all beautiful and exciting and there for the taking.
So for the next week, why don’t you focus on figuring out your purpose? Figure out what makes you want to jump out of bed in the morning and get started. Don’t worry yet how. Don’t tell yourself you can’t and censor yourself. Just spend some time figuring out what you think you are meant to do and what would bring you the satisfaction, fulfillment and joy that you deserve.
I offer a complimentary session to see if coaching is right for you – we can start to explore your purpose. You may not feel like you have one – but it is there – deep inside you. We just need to bring it out. I know what questions to ask to guide you to discovering your purpose.
Once you truly know your purpose, it will give you the passion and strength and endurance to face down obstacles along the way. It will help you follow through and commit to yourself and your goals.
